Eliot New is a native of Lufkin, Texas and began his legal career at GERMER in 2007, after graduating from Baylor University School of Law.  At Baylor Law School, he was in the Order of Barristers, received a full Dean's Academic Excellence Scholarship, and earned top grades in Baylor's Practice Court.  He also has a B.B.A. and M.P.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.  Eliot is an active member of the Jefferson County Bar Association, and is on the City of Beaumont Historic Landmark Commission.

Eliot specializes in labor and employment litigation, advising employers on day-to-day operations and policies, and advising public entities on employment matters and general operations.  He represents employers in administrative proceedings before the EEOC, DOL, and TWC, and in state and federal courts.
